How to keep cut Veggies fresh in the fridge

Writer: Sarah Sarah

My and most people's priority is keeping my veggies fresh and yummy as long as possible.

My favorite trick is to use ball canning jars. Putting carrots and celery in a canning jar and screwing the lid on creates a lovely seal that will keep your veggies fresh for a month or so. This is one of my favorite thrifty tricks that keeps my fridge full and ultimately saves time by having ingredients ready for dinners and snacks,

My other essential is using freezer tape and a sharpie to label my jars. I am a huge fan of labeling my ingredients to ensure they are fresh.

I do this especially to ensure I have the ingredients for my chicken noodle soup that I love to share with my college student ( my Owl), who shops in my refrigerator. I will share the link to this soon.

I believe having a well-thought-out, and prepared fridge and freezer saves you time and, hopefully, money in the long run.
